TGIF & Union Jack

Just a few quick pics of a coffee table/trunk I just finished with A.S. chalk paint-not the usual union jack colors but they work in my casa....enjoy the weekend! Off to Houston, Tx. next week to keep hubby company on a business trip....I'll be busy getting ready for that. For some insane reason I think the house needs to be perfect before I leave on any trip. Are any of you as insane as I am? LOL  xoxo

Pics aren't great...weird lighting out today. also, forgot to mention this piece is waxed with clear wax & dark to add age. :)

  2. There is nothing better than to come home to a clean fresh smelling house when you've been away! I am the same way, sometimes I just don't have the time to make it happen!

  11. Hi Chris~
I'm just like you -- my house has to be PERFECT before I leave on a trip. Spotless. I drive myself a little crazy putting everything in its place and leave notes everywhere for my house sitter. Yes, it's neurotic, but at least when I leave I know everything is OK and I like that feeling. Hope you had a good trip with your husband and are enjoying this incredible Spring so far. xoxo Amy

  12. Hello Chris,
So glad you stopped by my blog. Your blog is fabulous! I love this stool you transformed, and all the rest of your fab photos.
Funny, I do recall seeing the article about your home/garden in a magazine. It's nice to meet a local gal, and I'll be following.
    Take care,
    Susan

  16. oh that is so pretty in those colors! nice~and yes I like to have a neat home so when I come home it is refreshing! I tried to reply to the comment you left on my blog but did you realize your settings have it so when you leave a comment it is Tuttichic@noreplyblogger. So that means you don't get feedback from the host blog you comment on...you can change that. I happened to have the RC mag right next to me and flipped to your garden on pg 67 and it is soooo wonderful! that is my ideal garden! I love it all!! Where in Mass are you located? That is where I live too.
